The University of Florida Term Professorship Program recognizes and rewards significant faculty academic achievements. Professors are chosen based on Chair nominations and the recommendation of the College of Medicine Advisory Committee. Each award runs for 3 years and provides a $5,000/year salary supplement to the awardee.
