Sebastián Gatica-Moris, MD, joined us on Sept. 16, 2019, as an Assistant Professor in the Critical Care Medicine and Multispecialty Anesthesiology divisions. He comes to us from the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, where he completed a Critical Care Anesthesiology Fellowship and a Neuroanesthesiology Fellowship. Dr. Gatica-Moris earned his medical degree from Universidad Central del Caribe in Bayamón, Puerto Rico; he completed his Anesthesiology Residency at the University of Puerto Rico as well as a Research Fellowship in the Department of Anesthesiology there. He also worked as an attending anesthesiologist in Hima San Pablo Hospital in Puerto Rico.
Dr. Gatica-Moris is a member of several anesthesiology organizations as well as a Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology, and he has also made a significant number of contributions to abstracts, oral presentations, and publications.
