Dr. Svetlana Chembrovich joined the Department of Anesthesiology on July 8, 2019, as an Assistant Professor in the Acute Pain and Perioperative Medicine division. She came to us from the University of New Mexico, where she was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine.
She earned her medical degree from the Belarussian State Medical University in Minsk, Belarus; she completed an Internal Medicine Residency at Greater Baltimore Medical Center and an Anesthesiology and Critical Care Residency at the University of New Mexico. To round out her education, Dr. Chembrovich completed a fellowship in Regional Anesthesia and Acute Perioperative Pain Medicine here at the University of Florida.
She is a member of several anesthesiology organizations and has also made several contributions to peer-reviewed publications, abstracts, and presentations. Outside of work, she enjoys figure skating, hiking, and kayaking.
