The 2019 UF Health Shands Perioperative Golf Classic raised $37, 780 for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of North Central Florida.
On March 23, 29 teams of more than 120 golfers gathered at Haile Plantation Golf and Country Club for the event. Around 40 of our anesthesiology residents, faculty, and advanced practice providers participated in the tournament.
Ronald McDonald House Charities of North Central Florida provides the opportunity for families to stay together and be near their sick children. Each year they assist thousands of families who travel to Gainesville, Florida to take advantage of the medical expertise at UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital.
