On November 15, Guy Weinberg, MD, Anesthesiology professor at University of Illinois, presented a lecture on lipid resuscitation to a room packed with attendees from several departments within the College of Medicine.
This lecture was part of the Jerome H. Modell, M.D. – Dinesh O. Shah, Ph.D. Annual Lecture in Anesthesiology series funded by Dr. Shah, Professor Emeritus, who was presented with an award that night in appreciation of his sponsorship. Jerome H. Modell, MD, former Anesthesiology chair who recruited Dr. Shah to join the department almost 50 years ago, was also in attendance and was recognized for his contributions to the department.
