New Faculty Join the Department

We are pleased to announce Drs. Andrew McNeil, Juan Mora, and Arvin Trippensee joined our department this week. Welcome, Doctors!

Andrew McNeil, DOAndrew McNeil, DO, joined us on July 2, 2018, as an Assistant Professor in the Pain Division and comes to us from Peninsula Pain Clinic in Washington, where he was a pain medicine physician. He earned his medical degree from Western University of Heath Sciences; he completed his Anesthesiology residency and Pain Medicine fellowship here at the University of Florida. He is a member of several anesthesiology organizations and has significant medical mission/volunteer experience.


Juan Mora, MDJuan Mora, MD, joined us on July 2, 2018, as an Assistant Professor in the Pain Division. He earned his medical degree from Universidad Nacional de Colombia; he completed his Anesthesiology residency and Pain Management fellowship here at the University of Florida. He is a member of several anesthesiology organizations and has extensive volunteer and leadership experience. He has also made a significant number of contributions to peer-reviewed publications, abstracts, and presentations.


Arvin Trippensee, DOArvin Trippensee, DO, joined us on July 2, 2018, as an Assistant Professor in the division of Critical Care Medicine. Before joining us, he held an academic appointment at Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Maryland, where he was an assistant professor. He also worked as a staff anesthesiologist for Florida Hospital Tampa, Florida Hospital Carrolwood, Florida Hospital Wesley Chapel, University of South Florida Surgical Center, and the Reproductive Medical Group. He earned his medical degree from the College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery at Des Moines University; he completed his residency in Anesthesiology at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth and his Critical Care & Transesophageal Echocardiography fellowship at Duke University. He is a member of several anesthesiology organizations and has extensive experience in military medicine.
