Assistant Director of Clinical Research, Judith Wishin, BSN, RN, CCRC, along with her team of Research Coordinators, Andrea Castro Cara, RN, BSN; Amy Gunnett, RN, CCRC; Megan Koenig, BS; Trevor Pogue, MA, CCRC; Anna Woods, RN; and Desmond Zeng, MS, authored the case study titled “Real World Experience: Why Research flat lines, a review of trials from the coordinator’s perspective”. The abstract has been accepted by the International Association of Clinical Research Nurses (IACRN) for poster presentation at their annual conference in October.
IACRN is a professional nursing organization created to define, validate, and advance clinical research nursing as a specialty practice and to support the professional development of registered nurses. Amy Gunnett is the co-chair of the local chapter of IACRN and Andrea Castro Cara is the secretary.
