Alberto Bursian, MD, Selected to Participate in FMA Legislative Day

Second-year resident Alberto Bursian, MD, represented the University of Florida on FMA Legislative Day.

Dr. Bursian was the only anesthesiology resident in the group of 15 that went to the capitol in Tallahassee this month. The group met with several members of the House of Representatives and advocated for physicians.

The Florida Medical Association (FMA) represents more than 20,000 physicians on issues of legislation and regulatory affairs, medical economics and education, public health, and ethical and legal issues.
