Resident Claudia Sotillo, MD, Places in Competition

Third-year resident Claudia Sotillo, MD, placed second in the Anesthesia Patient Safety Foundation’s 2017 Resident Quality Improvement competition.

The mission of the Anesthesia Patient Safety Foundation (APSF) is to continually improve the safety of patients during anesthesia care by encouraging and conducting safety research and education; patient safety programs and campaigns; and the national and international exchange of information and ideas.

The Resident Quality Improvement competition is held annually and all US and Canadian Anesthesiology residency programs are invited to submit a 4-minute video showcasing their best quality improvement work for the competition.
