Dr. Rene Przkora has been elected to serve on the American Society of Anesthesiologists Committee on Pain Medicine.
The ASA Committee on Pain Medicine is charged with studying pain mechanisms and management as well as reviewing and disseminating developments in the field of pain medicine.
The ASA is an association of physicians focused on educational and research. They were organized to raise and maintain the standards of the medical practice of anesthesiology and improve the care of the patient. Founded in 1905, the ASA has become an important voice in American medicine and the foremost advocate for all patients who require anesthesia or relief from pain.
