Dr. Lauren Berkow will be serving on the Florida Medical Association Committee on Continuing Medical Education (CME) and Accreditation.
This Committee serves as a component of the Council on Medical Education, Science & Public Health by performing the responsibilities necessary to accredit CME providers in Florida and to approve Florida Medical Association (FMA) activities offered for CME credit through direct providership and joint providership.
The members also often work with FMA staff to complete accreditation surveys of accredited providers, as well as content review of educational content when necessary.
CME consists of educational activities that physicians participate in to maintain, develop, or increase their knowledge, skills, and professional performance.
