Dr. Laurie Davies has received four American Society of Anesthesiology committee appointments for the 2018 governance year.
Dr. Davies will be serving on the ASA committees on Cardiovascular and Thoracic Anesthesia; Scientific and Educational Exhibits; and Educational Track Subcommittee on Professional Issues. She will also be the committee chair for the Abstract Review Subcommittee on Clinical Circulation.
Through these committees the American Society of Anesthesiologists endeavor to further their mission of enhancing anesthesia education world wide; supporting clinical anesthesia needs globally; supporting and educating in the safe use, maintenance and development of anesthetic equipment; educating ASA members on safe, ethical and effective ways to advance anesthesia care world wide; representing the ASA in the international forums; and collaborating on international initiatives in setting standards for safe anesthesia practice.
