Dr. Ferenc Rabai joined us in June 2017, as an Assistant Professor.
He completed his anesthesiology residency in 2016 and his fellowship in neuroanesthesiology in 2017 at the University of Florida.
His research interests include prediction of post-traumatic cerebral infarction in traumatic brain injury and the clinical utility of intraoperative neuromonitoring.
Dr Rabai obtained his medical degree from the University of Debrecen in Hungary. Prior to pursuing a career in anesthesiology he completed core surgical training in the United Kingdom leading to membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2010. He worked as a staff grade surgeon in private practice for two years before coming to UF in 2012.
Dr. Rabai has made a significant number of contributions to publications, abstracts, and poster presentations. We are excited to have such an accomplished doctor joining us. Welcome to the department!
