The Department of Anesthesiology was honored to have Daryl J. Kor, MD, the T.W. Anderson/H.M. Perkins Visiting Professor from Mayo Clinic College of Medicine, present a Journal Club on March 27th. Dr. Kor presented on the topic of Post-Transfusion Pulmonary Complications. Thanks to Meghan Brennan, MD, Ferenc Rabai MD, Gevalin Srisooksai, MD, and Dalya Elhady, MD, who also prepared presentations for the group. A good mix of faculty and residents showed up to listen and participate in an in-depth discussion about TRALI, pTRALI, ARDS and TACO.
