New Residents Announced at 2016 Match Day

We look forward to meeting and working with our new Anesthesiology residents for the 2016/2017 Academic year.

The National Resident Matching Program® announced the results of what has turned out to be the largest Main Residency Match® in NRMP history. More than 18,000 U.S. allopathic seniors and 17,000 other applicatants vied for over 30,0000 positions at more then 4,800 residency programs across the United States. The seniors learned their fates at medical school Match Day ceremonies held across the country. Match Day is an annual rite of passage for medical students, a day when they learn at which U.S. residency programs they will train for the next three to seven years.  Congratulations to all involved!

“Today we congratulate applicants and programs alike,” said NRMP President and CEO Mona M. Signer. “We are delighted to be part of this life-changing day in the lives of young physicians, and we wish them success as they take the next step in their careers.”
