Fred Cole Dooley, M.D., to the Department of Anesthesiology. Dr. Dooley returns to the “Gator Nation” family as an Assistant Professor. He comes to us from the University of Arkansas Medical School where he completed a fellowship in Pediatric Anesthesia. Dr. Dooley completed his Residency in Anesthesiology at the University of Florida. He received his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria, Illinois. Dr. Dooley was an Emergency Department Technician I at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center and a Health Services Instructor for the American Red Cross. He has won many awards such as “Resident of the Month” from the University of Florida and the University of Illinois at Chicago Alumni Association Student Leadership Award. Dr. Dooley is an active member in many organizations such as the Society for Pediatric Anesthesia, the Florida Society of Anesthesiologists, and the American Society of Anesthesiologists. During his free time he likes to travel, cook, read and go kayaking. We are excited to have such an accomplished young doctor joining us, and we ask you to help us welcome him as a faculty member to the department and university!
