UF Pain Medicine Fellows for 2014

We are very pleased to announce that in the inaugural year of the Pain Medicine Fellowship NRMP match, the UF pain fellowship filled and we couldn’t be happier with our 2014 fellows.

 

UF Pain Medicine Fellowship Match Results Selections:

 

Renee Myers, MD 

Dr. Myers has been at the University of Florida from her Bachelor’s degree in Food Science & Human Nutrition (Magna Cum Laude) received in 2006, to Medical School, completed in 2010 and now completing her residency in our own department of Anesthesiology.  She is currently serving as the resident head of resident recruitment.  She has had several publications to her credit in addition to research participation.  We look forward to having Renee continue her educational training with us.  

 

Michael Auerbach, DO

Dr. Auerbach will be coming to us after completing his current residency in Anesthesiology at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital.  Michael received his Bachelor’s degree in 1997 from Ohio University in Athens, OH.  From there, he transferred to Cleveland State University to complete his Master’s in Business Administration.  He then moved to Florida, and obtained his DO from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale.   Various professional roles held include Senior Research Technologist, investment representative with Edward Jones and Laboratory manager.  Michael participated in several research projects and co-author of a number of published journal articles.

 

In addition to those staying in the lovely state of Florida, we would also like to congratulate Tomas Kucera who matched in New York and Tim Replogle who will be heading to North Carolina.
