Our own Titi Aina has been selected for a 2012-2013 HVO-SEA Traveling Fellowship Award! She is one of nine selected by Health Volunteers Overseas (HVO) and the Society for Education in Anesthesia (SEA) to spend a month teaching anesthesia providers in Ethiopia, Peru, South Africa, Vietnam, or Malawi. Health Volunteeers Overseas is a private non-profit organization dedicated to improving the availability and quality of care in developing countries through the training and education of local health care providers. To be recognized by this humanitarian organization is a great accomplishment, and Titi will be a fine ambassador for UF and Shands. Congratulations!
