Applying for Residency
All applications for Anesthesiology Residency Training must be submitted through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). However, if you do not have access to ERAS or are applying for a position during the season when ERAS is not active, you may obtain an application following the instructions listed below.
The Anesthesiology program at the University of Florida considers applicants from all backgrounds and experiences. We encourage application from US and high quality international medical schools. Foreign medical graduates must have one year of clinical experience within the US. Applicants with substantial experiences outside of medicine are welcomed. Competitive applicants must have outstanding recommendations and academic credentials.
We have a unique program for applicants with substantial research experience who wish to obtain both an anesthesiology residency and research fellowship concurrently. Information about the Gravenstein’s Scholar Program is available here.
