Dr. Corda returned to the University of Florida in 2015 after practicing 14 years in both private practice and academic medical settings.  He was formerly a member of the Cardiothoracic Anesthesia division at Mayo Clinic Jacksonville and was Director of Cardiothoracic Anesthesia at Florida Hospital Waterman.  Dr. Corda is board certified in advanced preoperative transesophageal echocardiography and is an oral board examiner for the ABA.
He is currently Director of the Transition to Practice Rotation for senior residents and is a member of the UF Anesthesia Liver Transplantation team.  His research interests include preoperative visual loss and the anesthesia consent process and patient safety.
