Abdomen Trauma Step 5

Step 5 (3 hours): Active Learning

If you are part of a UF Health training program (advanced practice provider, resident, fellow, or faculty), go to your intensive care unit or emergency department setting and obtain 5 views of the right upper quadrant. If you are a student please use “student” in the name of unit obtained, and appropriate date. If you know a patient you are following has cirrhosis, go perform a right upper quadrant ultrasound to obtain an image of positive free fluid in abdomen (which is ascites in this case). Take the Abdomen-FAST TIP SHEET with you to help you identify the structures.
