Dr. Grek is a critical care physician with board certifications in critical care medicine and anesthesiology. Clinical interests are focused on trauma and cardiac critical care, in addition to regulatory affairs and compliance challenges in our healthcare system. In addition to his clinical role at UF Health, he is the section chief of surgical critical care at the VA Medical Center in Gainesville, FL and serves as the site director for the critical care medicine fellowship. Prior to this, he has served in multiple national corporate leadership and consulting roles. He received his medical degree with honors from the University of Florida, College of Medicine where he also completed residency and fellowship, following receipt of his undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from Florida State. He is a member of the American College of Health Care Executives and the Society of Critical Care Medicine.
