Dr. Donald Bohannon is an Associate Professor of Anesthesiology and Director of Transition to Practice Resident Rotation. His interests include Regional Anesthesia, Perioperative Pain Medicine, and Ambulatory Anesthesia. Dr. Bohannon studied at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia to earn a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He then moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to earn his medical degree at Hahnemann Medical College. He interned in General Surgery at the Medical College of Georgia Hospitals and he completed his residency in Anesthesiology at the University of Florida. He also holds medical licenses in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, and Alabama. Dr. Bohannon takes active membership roles in many professional societies such as the American Society of Regional Anesthesia, the Florida Medical Association, the Florida Society of Anesthesiologists, and the American Society of Anesthesiologists.
