Amanda Frantz, MD, Joins Our Critical Care Faculty

Dr. Amanda Frantz joined the department on August 7, 2017, as an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine.

Dr. Frantz received her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine. She completed an internship and residency in anesthesiology at Virginia Commonwealth University as well as a critical care fellowship at the University of Florida with us in the Department of Anesthesiology.

During residency, Dr. Frantz researched the antioxidant effects of vitamin C in cardiac surgery patients. Her clinical interests are cardiac, trauma, and critical care medicine. We are excited to have Dr. Frantz joining us. Welcome to the department!
