UF Health Shands Perioperative Golf Classic raised $15,000 for Ronald McDonald House this year! Eighty-eight golfers came out to Haile Plantation Golf and Country Club for the event on Saturday April 8th.
Ronald McDonald House Charities of North Central Florida assists families with seriously ill children being treated at area medical facilities through two programs: the Ronald McDonald House located in Gainesville, Florida and the Ronald McDonald Family Room located at UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital. 31 families benefit each night from the temporary housing, basic amenities and support to families with children receiving treatment at UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital.
