Gevalin is a lifelong UF Gator having completed her undergraduate here in Biochemistry and a recent graduate from UF COM..  She has done research to generate recombinant plasmids containing microRNAs of KSHV (Kaposi’s Sarcoma-associated herpesvirus) and evaluate each of its effect on replication and latency in mammalian cells through the Medical Student Research Program.  She has volunteered at Hospice, the Thai Student Association, and the Ramathibodi Hospital Emergency Department in Bangkok Thailand. She is fluent in Thai and enjoys playing guitar/piano with my friends and making digital animations in her free time.
