Welcome Mofi Oke!
Please join us in welcoming Mofi Oke, MHA, to the Department of Anesthesiology. Ms. Oke joined us on Monday, May 16, 2016, as a summer intern for the Department of Anesthesiology and comes to us from Brooks Rehabilitation in Jacksonville, Florida, where she was an Administrative Intern and graduate research assistant. Ms. Oke earned her Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro. She then moved to Jacksonville where she earned her Master’s in Health Administration from the University of North Florida. She also completed a Congressional Internship with the U.S. House of Representatives, where she aided in research and summarized relevant healthcare legislation, including the Affordable Care Act, for hearings and briefings. She also managed and conducted tours of the White House and U.S. Capitol. During her free time, Ms. Oke enjoys volunteering with the Special Olympics, Safe Haven Domestic Violence Shelter, Alzheimer’s Association, and Habitat for Humanity. We are excited to have such an accomplished young intern grow with us, and we ask you to help us welcome her to the department!
